Skin Care
Dermatology is the branch of medicine dealing with the hair, nails, skin
and its diseases. It is a unique specialty with both medical and
surgical aspects. Because of the ease of observation of cutaneous
symptoms, dermatology had early become a separate branch of medicine.
Its scientific basis, however, was not established until the mid-19th
century. Today Dermatologists have gained the capacity to control fungal
diseases of the skin, to recognize and treat skin cancers at an early
stage, to control the life-threatening skin diseases pemphigus and lupus
erythematosus, and to alleviate psoriasis.

Dermatopathology
Dermatopathology is a subspecialty of dermatology and pathology that
involves the study of skin disease at the microscopic level. Although
many skin diseases can be recognized by their clinical appearance,
sometimes a skin biopsy is taken to provide more information. This
biopsy specimen is then examined under the microscope by a
dermatolopathologist who looks at the disease at the cellular
level.
Light Therapy
Light Therapy with ultraviolet light is an effective treatment for some
types of skin diseases including psoriasis and eczema. Treatment
typically requires two to three visits a week, often for several months,
where treatment duration and dosage levels are determined by the
physician. Photodynamic therapy is utilized to treat extensive solar
damage and premalignant keratoses.

Early Detection and Timely Prevention
Modern lifestyle symbolizes excessive stress and strain brought on by
extended work hours, irregular eating habits, late nights, weekend
parties, inadequate rest and to top of it all, high levels of pollution.
Such undesirable factors are bound to cause health related problems, be
they physical, mental and psychological disorders
To cope up with the rising risk of medical disorders, health monitoring
has now become mandatory. Most health problems can be managed or
prevented with few lifestyle changes if made in time

medical services under one roof
